The Irish international has had no shortage of offers after being left out of Peter Reid's squad for the opening two games of the season.

Now the left-back has to decide on whether to accept one of the loan offers or stay and fight for his place at Leeds.

Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp has publicly expressed his interest in the defender, who turns 26 on Sunday, and earlier this week Spanish giants Barcelona were reported to have shown an interest.

Harte made 33 appearances last season, scoring three goals and joined the club as a youth trainee, making his debut against West Ham in January 1996.

Since then he has made over 200 appearances for The Whites.

Meanwhile, midfielder Paul Okon is understood to be close to moving to Italy as well.
