An article in The Sun states that Arsene Wenger knows he could get the England striker for as little as £5m if Leeds are forced into administration.
He said: "If Leeds do go into administration, quite a few sharks will be circling Elland Road.
"I will see if anything interesting develops on the transfer front.
"The fact we have qualified for the next round of the Champions League helps our budget for the season."
