Grayson To Target Experience

Grayson revealed he is already looking to strengthen his squad after seeing his side's 2-1 win at champions QPR leave them three points short of a play-off place.

When asked what was required, Grayson replied: "Probably a bit more experience. There have been times when we have shot ourselves in the foot. When we were 4-1 up against Preston at home and then lost 6-4. We also lost at Barnsley when we were sitting comfortably, but we have the nucleus of a good squad.

"We have players who are hungry and who work hard for each other and they want to get better. I know what we need to get and hopefully we will manage to achieve that."

Grayson said he hoped the allure of playing for a "top-six" club would help attract better players to Elland Road. He added: "We have never found it difficult in the past because of the size of our club and the facilities. It is also a club which is moving forward. A big football club and our attendances are around 28,000 this year. In terms of size of our fanbase we're probably in the top six in the country."
