Leeds received a £1m payment from Manchester City as part of the appearance based bonuses in the deal that took Fowler to the other side of the Pennines.
After reaching 30 appearances for Kevin Keegan's side, a further payment was pending to United.
Fowler notched his 5th goal of the season against Liverpool on Sunday.
