Midfielder agrees new deal.

Leeds United have announced that Republic of Ireland international Eunan O’Kane has penned a new four year contract with the club.

O’Kane’s new deal, means he will remain at Elland Road until at least the end of the 2020/21 season.

The midfielder began his career with Premier League side Everton, before moving to Torquay United in 2010.

He enjoyed two and a half years at Plainmoor, before being snapped up by Bournemouth in July 2012.

At Bournemouth O’Kane helped the Cherries win promotion from Sky Bet League One, before going on to help the club reach the Premier League in 2015.

The 27 year-old joined Leeds from the South coast last summer and has made 27 appearances for the Whites in all competitions.

O’Kane becomes the latest United man to sign a new contract this week, following the announcements of defensive due Gaetano Berardi and Liam Cooper.
