England completed their Uefa Championship campaign with an easy victory over Poland at Hillsborough.

Carlton Cole opened the scoring and Jerome Thomas made it 2-0 with a shot from the left. Steven Taylor added a third before Poland's Marcin Kikut scored a fine solo effort.

After the break, Pawel Strak was sent off after a second yellow card for a challenge on Lennon before Taylor sealed victory. England are now a two-legged play-off tie away from next summer's tournament along with Group Six winners Germany.
