Eddie Gray said: "He's a long way ahead of schedule, so we're actually having to keep him back. He's worked extremely hard.
"He's training now, but not with the first team yet. He's hardly trained with the ball, but I'm hoping he will join us in a week's time.
"The midfield we've got is working very well. As soon as Eirik is fit he must prove he is good enough to make the team."
