Ryan Edmondson joined the Whites from York City in 2017 but made just two appearances for the senior side over the course of three seasons in the Championship. He went on to feature for Aberdeen, Northampton Town, Fleetwood Town and Port Vale on loan before his permanent departure from the Whites.
The striker will join up with former England u-19 boss Paul Simpson at Brunton Park.Simpson handed Edmondson three caps for the England youth side.
