Duberry Expects Some Stick

Some Leeds fans turned against Duberry towards the end of his time at the club and he expects some more stick during the game.

Duberry said: "You get silly comments like 'grass', but, you know what, I can handle that all day. I'm old enough to deal with that. I don't ever rise to it.

"At every stadium I'm at now there's so-called hardcore fans that want to shout abuse. But I just laugh it off.

"I remember when I was young playing for Chelsea and at away games the home fans might be hammering Dennis Wise.

"But at the end of the day they must half respect the player for the fans to do that. So I take it as a compliment when they're shouting stuff.

"It sometimes makes me play better anyway. It never makes me go the other way."
