Duberry Back In Training

Duberry was injured after only 10 minutes of the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in the pre-season Dublin tournament, but is now back in light training.

He played in the final seven matches of last season and was looking to establish himself as a first-team regular this term, with Lucas Radebe's on-going knee problem restricting the veteran South African's appearances.

However, the injury jinx that has afflicted Duberry, on and off, since his arrival from Stamford Bridge in the summer of 1999, continues to frustrate him and the arrival of loan signings Didier Domi, Roque Junior and Zamara Camara has done nothing to improve his prospects.

It is hoped Duberry will be fit to start challenging for a place in the squad in the next few weeks.
