Dour Leeds? It's Always Been That Way!

We never received rave reviews when Don Revie's great team of the 60s and 70s won League Championships and Cups.

Even Howard Wilkinson's Division One Championship side of the 90s never received glowing plaudits too regularly.

I remember a colleague speaking about a victory over Spurs one weekend when David O'Leary was in charge. He said the performance made him feel like we'd lost!

Twelve sides have visited Elland Road in League One this season and we've been victorious ten times despite Southend, Luton, Hartlepool, Yeovil, Orient, Swindon, Huddersfield and Bristol Rovers all claiming they should have got something more from their performances.

The fact is they didn't. I'll settle for the same reviews from our remaining 11 home games.
