Don't panic!

"Our fans need to relax a bit. We realise you are ambitious and we want to meet those ambitions. But let us not panic just because we have fallen off the pace a little. I would like to remind all of our supporters that, apart from during the Revie era, this club has never consistently finished in the top six.

"We have had finishes of fourth, third, fourth and now we are aiming for the top four again. This is the best run since 1974. So we most certainly will not allow a short-term blip in results to worry us. We will not be rushing to press the panic button simply because we have not won a few games. I believe, unequivocally, we have the best management team in the country at Leeds United.

"I have total faith in the work David and his team are doing and I believe they are the right people to take this club forward and achieve success. Let's just remember what David has done for this club - his record in the league and then taking us to two European semi-finals. He is up there with the best. I am as ambitious as anybody and, like all fans, I get frustrated when we are not winning games.

"However, we are building for a successful long-term future at this club and as far as I am concerned we will not be shifted from achieving those aims. We have a strong squad, the best management team in the game and they are capable of providing a great future for this club. We were top of the table on 1 January and you don't become a bad team overnight."

Give that man a medal!
