Dobie Warns Leeds Defender

The Carlisle midfielder expects the defender to encounter a frosty reaction in Cumbria following last month's game between the two clubs at Elland Road.

Leeds won 3-2 despite Dobie's first half strike, but the fixture was marred by the subsequent controversy involving Huntington and Carlisle's fans.

He apparently angered the travelling support by gesturing at them repeatedly, and Huntington moved to issue a public apology over his behaviour 48 hours after full-time.

Gary McAllister is unlikely to have any concerns about retaining the centre-back in his line-up throughout the play-offs, but Dobie, who is Huntington's half-cousin, said: "Fans don't forget things like that. I don't know him well enough to know whether it will affect him next week but it's definitely going to be a lesson for him. I know he hasn't done himself any favours with the fans."
