"It's been a nightmare, I've never had a time like this in my career," he told Leeds' official website. "It's a heel injury I picked up from a kick against Stoke. I've had two operations and had an air-cast boot on for four weeks, so it's not been a good time.
"But I'm out of the casts, getting movement back into the heel, and I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. I'm going to get my body right and come back stronger than ever."
