The 29-year-old Delaye spent the second half of last season with Bastia.
He joined the Corsican side from Rennes and he also had a spell with Montpellier.
Kevin Blackwell has looked at a lot of trialists over the last few months and with finances scarce, Delaye's availability on a free transfer is a plus, with his trial, according to reports, due to start this week.
