The 17-year-old full-back has already had one trial period at Leeds and a permanent deal could be offered if he impresses again.

Elgin boss David Robertson, a former Leeds left-back, told skysports.com: "He's back at Elgin this week, but from what I can gather, he'll spend some more time with Leeds soon. He's a left sided player, which is rare in itself and he's by far the most composed player I've ever seen at his age.

"He has been playing in the Scottish Third Division since he was 15, he's 17 now, and it is a tough and physical league. Playing at that level is difficult for someone of his age but he's proved himself and I'm not surprised clubs are looking at him."
