Dacourt Praises Leeds Shock!

The former Everton and Lens midfielder had an unhappy time under Terry Venables and joined Roma last season initially on loan, with the move now complete.

'' I called Olivier Dacourt who played there (Leeds),'' Camara admitted. ''He reassured me, and told me it is a good club with a very good education centre. Leeds are a very great club. I know the club's great players will stay, like Mark Viduka and Alan Smith. Next season, Leeds will be competitive, '' he added.

Obviously, someone has been selling the club to the Frenchman. However, who would have thought it would be Dacourt!

Camara has signed a one year loan deal which may be made permanent if all goes well this season. He could make an appearance against Burnley along with fellow signing Jody Morris this Sunday (12 noon kick off) at Turf Moor.
