Palace boss Iain Dowie is keen on Leeds midfielder Eirik Bakke, with reports suggesting negotiations have already opened.
They may face competition from West Bromwich Albion however, who have also been linked with Norway international.
Bakke is rated at £1.5m by the Leeds board.
