Players from both sides were involved in angry exchanges early in the second half following Burnley midfielder Chris McCann's high tackle on Leeds winger Max Gradel.

Referee Phil Crossley, who moved swiftly and effectively to diffuse the situation, booked Leeds pair Eric Lichaj and Neil Kilkenny while McCann was also shown a yellow card.

The Clarets admitted the charge of failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative and/or violent behaviour.

The Turf Moor outfit have been fined £5,000 while Leeds have admitted their charge, relating to the same incident, and have requested a personal hearing.
