The England keeper, who has also been linked with a move to both Arsenal and Barcelona, appears to be unsettled at Elland Road and a move looks more-and-more likely.

"We want to keep Paul but that depends on him and it may be that Aston Villa will put in a higher offer or soemone else will," McKenzie told the club's official website

"Arsenal have also expressed an interest but we are happy for him to stay because he is a very good goalkeeper.

"Peter Reid's position has always been that his players have to want to play for Leeds, as long as he expresses that interest then hopefully he will stay with us. Like all players, it's up to him to decide on that," he added.

"He is a great goalkeeper and we want to keep him, but we are fortunate in the position that we have two great international keepers on the books."

Why Robinson would want to move from Leeds to Villa beggars belief really but interest from some of the Premiership's top sides for the Leeds number one is sure to increase with this news.
