The Dane originally joined the club on loan in January but his permanent switch was thrown into the air when the club's administration procedure failed to be cleared up.

However, Ankergren was happy to wait and is now looking forward after signing a 3-year deal.

"I really wanted to come back, but obviously some problems needed sorting out," said the keeper, who completed his move from Bronby earlier this week. "Now I'm glad I'm back.

"It's been a big problem for me and my family because we didn't know where we going in the next month, so it's been a big issue at our home. 'Will we come back to Leeds or...'

"I've got a daugher whose 13 months old and I wanted things sorted and to start family life in the right way.

"I've signed a three-year contract and we can do that now. I need somewhere to live, then my family can come over, and we can get sorted," he added on Leeds' official wesbite.
