The French pair were signed by former boss Peter Reid back in August on season long loans.
Unless someone comes in with an offer, they both could be paid for sitting around for the next few months.
Agent Willie McKay confirmed that United wanted the pair off their pay-roll.
"They were asked to sign a paper releasing them from their contract, but they have refused to sign," McKay said.
