The game was originally scheduled to be played on Tuesday, February 22 but with both teams knocked out of the FA Cup, Brighton lost 2-1 at Spurs, the fixture will now be played on Saturday, January 29, kick-off 3.00pm.
Leeds will benefit from bringing forward the match, though the official reason for the game being moved (because both sides have been knocked out of the FA Cup and they now have a free weekend) may be a smokescreen.
Unofficially, Leeds are desperate for the matchday revenue.
