Bridcutt To Bolster Leeds Midfield

Bridcutt is on the verge of joining Leeds on loan until January and will join his Sunderland and former Brighton team-mate Will Buckley at Elland Road after failing to make a single appearance so far this season.

The £2.5m midfielder could make his debut against Cardiff on Tuesday night if Leeds complete the paperwork in time.

Evans, who was appointed last month after the dismissal of Uwe Rösler, is targeting another four players after admitting the current squad will struggle to stay in the Championship.

Leeds were beaten 2-0 by Blackburn last Thursday and Evans is still searching for his first victory since his appointment.

Leeds are 19th in the Championship and three points above the relegation zone.
