Bowyer to Liverpool or Arsenal speculation continues

Newspaper speculation continues to suggest that Liverpool and Arsenal are ready to make a move for Lee Bowyer if the club put him up for sale due to the contract saga that has developed at the club.

Leeds chief Peter Ridsdale is said to be furious that Bowyer is stalling on his latest contract offer especially with rumours that the midfielder is secretly hoping that another club comes in for him.

It's no secret that Bowyer was hurt the last time the club transfer listed him and the relationship since then has never been repaired. A move south could favour Bowyer but it was well documented in the Yorkshire Post that Liverpool are closely monitoring developments and Bowyer's father was allegedly quoted recently as saying that his son would love a move to Anfield.
