Blackwell: Transfer Window A Nightmare

"I've been looking forward to August 31 when the transfer window closes because it's a nightmare to be honest," said Blackwell. "The pressure on managers in the close season, during these windows, is just too intense. You're on the phone all day long, picking up calls from all around the world.
"I've said before I'm not a fan of these transfer windows. It doesn't affect us totally because we've got the loan system we can use, but there's so much work that has to be done in that short period of time.
"I don't know any other business that has to have all it's work done inside one month, I think it's a nonsense."
