Blackwell Set For Coventry

Kevin Blackwell faced calls for his resignation from home fans for the second game running but sources within the club today suggested he will still be in charge when Leeds travel to Coventry on Saturday.

Ken Bates was unavailable for comment this morning as Blackwell came out fighting after last night's defeat, insisting the pressure from supporters would not force him to leave.

Blackwell said in the YEP: "They can keep on calling. All I can do is do my job. I turned this club around from nothing. If you look at where we've come from, with no players, then I think I can turn this around, no problem."
