Blackwell Faces FA Action

This follows comments Blackwell made about Soho Square officials after Leeds' win at QPR last month.

Blackwell was angry after the FA rejected Leeds' appeal against the red card shown to David Healy at Loftus Road.

The FA have taken exception to his remarks and written to him asking for an explanation as well as warning him he could face a charge of bringing the game into disrepute.

Northern Ireland international Healy was dismissed following an off-the-ball incident with Rangers' Marc Bircham but Blackwell was convinced Healy did nothing wrong.

Blackwell hit out at the FA's disciplinary committee saying: "I would question the validity of the people who are making these decisions.

"I haven't asked the question, but I'd be keen to know who the video panel are. Their identities should be public.

"Everyone makes mistakes, and it would have been nice for the referee to admit he got it wrong and for the disciplinary committee to back that up."
