Blackwell: Brett Would Love To Stay

Blackwell said: "Brett would love to stay with us and we will be disappointed to lose him. If we are to move forward as a club, these are the sort of players we should be looking to sign. If we could do that we would be close to getting back to the Premiership sooner rather than later.

"Brett has tenacity as well as skill and he was starting to improve his match fitness and sharpness. He has shown his capabilities when he is fit and motivated and it would be interesting to see how he would settle in here if we had him for three months or more."

Ormerod goes back to Southampton this weekend after his loan spell at Elland Road.
