Beckford has missed Leeds' defeat to Huddersfield and their victory at Millwall, but McAllister was unwilling to risk him against Yeovil.
He is keen to give the 20-goal striker a run-out before the play-offs start.
McAllister said: "Jermaine should be fine for the weekend and I think he needs a game, just to make sure he's as sharp as he can be."
The squad are already preparing themselves for the play-offs but the club were waiting today to discover the outcome of their independent arbitration against the Football League.
