Another Tabloid Apology

It reads thus: 'Contrary to our suggestion last week, Mr Bates has asked us to point out he has no intention of selling Leeds United. As he has made clear over the last two years, he continues to seek a substantial partner to invest in the club. This has nothing to do with Leeds's appeal against the Football League's deduction of 15 points. We apologise for the embarrassment caused.'
