The young striker has been with The Iron for the last two months having already had an initial loan spell extended.
With Brett Ormerod from Southampton on loan at Elland Road it has enabled Kevin Blackwell to allow Keogh to remain with Brian Laws' side.
Keogh will stay at Glanford Park until November with his last match set to be a derby against Grimsby Town on November 6.
He has scored twice in ten appearances for The Iron so far.
