And Sully Makes Ten

The deal has been completed in time for the Scotland international keeper to join the rest of the squad for tomorrow's pre-season friendly with Hibernian at Easter Road.

The 34-year-old joined Chelsea from Tottenham in August 2003 and he becomes Leeds' 10th new signing of the summer.

He has had little opportunity in a squad that included Carlo Cudicini and Marco Ambrosio with Petr Cech arriving this summer from Rennes.

Before joining Spurs, Sullivan made 180 appearances for Wimbledon.

Kevin Blackwell told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I need that experience in my squad and it was also important to sign somebody who I felt would help develop Scott Carson because he is our future. I've been impressed by Neil's fitness and his attitude.

"It's been two years of total frustration for the lad. I don't think he expected Carlo Cudicini to hit the heights in quite the way that he did. My goalkeeping coach Martin Hodge has worked with him and was very happy. He'll be a good signing."

Squad for Hibs friendly tomorrow: Sullivan, Carson, Febereci, Kelly, Duberry, Butler (c), Carlisle, Radebe, Pugh, Richardson, Walton, Guppy, Bart-Williams, Wright, Hignett, Kilgallon, McMaster, Keogh, Joachim, Deane, Cadamateri, Ricketts.
