Reports suggest that Leeds are the club more likely to be his destination as the row between Butler and the Wolves board has been building up for months after the 31 year-old spoke out and criticised the way in which the club conducted their contract negotiations.

Butler’s agent Jonathan Barnett said: "We are not planning any further talks with Wolves. If they come back to us then fine, but we think that they have made us their best offer and we already have others to consider. We will accept whatever offer is right for Paul. But as far as we are concerned it is unlikely that Paul will stay at Wolves."
