Peter Reid said of his landmark goal on Saturday: "There was lots of pressure, it was last-minute and to stick it in the back of the net was great, it showed superb skill.
"You'd back him to score in that situation. It's the mark of a good striker to be alert that late in the game and as soon as it bounced to him you know he's got that radar to score goals. We got a break but sometimes fortune favours the brave.
"A lot has been written about me and Mark [they fell out during Leeds' worryingly bad pre-season] but he's a striker who scores goals and there's not many of them about and they cost a fortune.
"It [a move to Inter] isn't going to happen now and the best thing for everybody is that Mark plays his football. He's a fine player and we must get the best out of him."
