Leeds Magistrates' Court heard that police struggled to keep around 200 Leeds fans from attacking Cardiff supporters as they left Elland Road.
The district judge said it was an "ugly incident" and sent the men to the crown court to be sentenced
All admitted affray or other public order offences.
The 19 men will appear in early August before the crown court which can impose more severe sentences than a district judge.
