Bartlett's first goal was levelled by Sue Smith, but Stef Curtis restored Bristol's lead then Bartlett completed her hat-trick to put the home side three goals clear.
Leeds mounted a late fight-back but, despite further goals by Amanda Barr and Smith, they were unable to save the game.
