Pre-Season Tour With Mick Hewitt - Day Six

A test of endurance and minds.
I have learnt our football club are selling Bolton tickets on a match day tomorrow whilst we are en route to the game.
My back up plan to order tickets via Simon Featherstone swings into action.
One hour typing names and numbers and batching them into three lots and the email is sent....
Not received. We try again until it gets there and we are ready for off.
Clans are gathering and more people want to use the coach so I upgrade to a 50 seater.
It's 12-30 when my morning work is done and a few of us are visiting
Dachau concentration camp. I believe every child should visit this or one of the other camps. Auschwitz should be on every kids schedule. That is the most haunting I have ever seen along with Hiroshima.
It's in the 90s and we set off by train and bus 3-16 Euro each return. It would be a tenner in UK. An interesting couple of hours of tales of evil people with evil minds.
Time for a beer. It’s six actually! Coolers struggling to keep the beer cold, it's nearly hard work. We set off home and split up with Kevin Eke, Kjell Skjerven, Ian Cokayne
Coke and Dave Waterworth heading into town.
Early bath for Tony Short, Daniel Brown and Danny Hobson. Alex ,Bri and myself head for Chinese again. Pete and Tina are polishing off a meal and we have another very nice meal. Phil Buchan ,Harrogate John and the Berlin Whites arrive and we swap stories and send them towards the Hirchgarden beer garden.
Early night for the kidneys. It ain't half hot mum. Air con a blessing.
MATCHDAY at last.
