Radebe fears for future

Injury worries continue to plague Lucas
Speaking to the Sunday People, the Bafana Bafana legend said, "I don't know if I'll ever play in the Premiership again. I just don't know what the future holds. But I won't give in until the medics say I have to walk away. I'll keep fighting on as long as I can even though I know the odds are against me."

"The boss said I should maybe start to consider a future without football. We came to the conclusion that there are no assurances that I'd be able to last and it might be better to consider quitting.

"But I didn't feel I had reached that point then and at this precise moment I still don't know - the injuries have taken a lot out of me and I know the knee is not right."

Radebe, 32 has been out of action for almost 10 months with ankle ligament damage, and sustained knee problems. Everyone at Footy Mad wishes Lucas the best for the future, be it all Elland Road (and hopefully it will be), or not.
