Simon Grayson is after Villa's Australian centre-half Lowry on loan for the rest of the season, says the Mirror.
Grayson has agreed a deal to take the highly-rated defender, who is in Martin O'Neill's plans but will be sent out for a second spell to get first-team football and help his chances of making the Socceroos World Cup squad.
