Ladies Look For Rovers Return

United, whose original opening game against treble winners Fulham was postponed, started their campaign with a 5-0 hammering at Charlton Athletic last Sunday

Such is the nature of the ten strong FA Nationwide Women's Premier League National Division, United cannot afford to lose to a club who are new to the top flight after their promotion as runaway Southern Division champions last spring.

United's new signings will take some time to get to know each other, but after their clash with Rovers, United face a demanding run of games with the home and away fixtures against both Birmingham City and Doncaster Rovers Belles, plus Arsenal (away) and Everton (home) before less daunting ones against Tranmere Rovers and Aston Villa.

Bristol Rovers lost 3-1 at Everton in their opening fixture and gained their first point from a draw against the Division's other newcomers Aston Villa last Sunday.

Sunday's game at Garforth Town kicks off at 1.00pm
