Bennett Becomes 3rd Signing

The 33-year-old agreed terms on a two-year deal with after rejecting an offer of a new contract at St Andrews.

Sheffield United were also interested in the experienced keeper but Bennett decided on the Whites.

Kevin Blackwell was happy with the signing and said in the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I'm pleased that we've been able to agree things with Ian. From what I understand there were a couple of other clubs interested, as well as the offer of a new deal by Birmingham, and it speaks volumes that he's decided to come here.

"He's got plenty of experience and he's proven at this level. He's a good keeper and he's keen to do well and make an impression at Leeds. I'm looking forward to working with him."
